Animal Guardians of Brevard July Events

Please come to a Special Adoption Event for "National Homeless Animals Day" on August 16, 2008 at the South Animal Care and Adoption Center. 
This day was set aside to focus attention on all of the healthy, friendly animals in shelters waiting for the loving, lifetime homes they deserve.    

"Fall in Love Fur-ever" Special Adoption Event will take place on September 20, 2008 to bring additional attention to all the friendly, healthy animals awaiting their forever homes.

There will be free microchips and there will be refreshments and some reduced adoption fees.

Saturday, August 2nd - CBHS's Adoptable Pets Event at Pet Pros - 3695 Murrell Road, Rockledge, from 11 am to 2 pm
The event showcases some of the Central Brevard Humane Society's (CBHS) shelter dogs & cats and provides the public with fun educational information about responsible pet ownership. There will also be CBHS merchandise there for purchase. All proceeds go to help provide care to the homeless animals in Brevard County. Saturday, August 9th - CBHS's Adoptable Pets Event at the Sunflower House (located in Merritt Square Mall) - 777 E. Merritt Island Causeway, Merritt Island, from 11 am to 2 pm
The event showcases some of the Central Brevard Humane Society's (CBHS) shelter dogs & cats and provides the public with fun educational information about responsible pet ownership. Sunday, August 10th - Central Brevard Humane Society Jazz Quintet will be performing a FREE concert featuring a mix of swing, jazz and blues music to benefit the Central Brevard Humane Society, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Space Coast Frontenac Flea Market - 5605 North U.S. Highway 1, Port St. John

Wednesday, August 13th
CBHS's to Participate in Cinemaworld's FREE Kids Summer Movie Program, 4345 W. New Haven Avenue, Melbourne, from 9 m to 10 am
During the summer months, the Central Brevard Humane Society (CBHS) will be partnered with Cinemaworld in Melbourne for their FREE Kids Summer Movie Program. Children will be able to meet one of the Shelter's adoptable dogs, ask questions and pick up educational material on pet ownership.
All children 12 years of age and under are admitted FREE of charge into the movies. Adults are $2.00 or FREE with any donated item(s) they bring to the movies for the Central Brevard Humane Society.

Saturday, August 23rd
Pool Tournament to Benefit the Central Brevard Humane Society at the Island Breakers Billiards Sports Bar - 950 N. Courtenay Parkway, Suite 4, Merritt Island, beginning at 1:30 p.m.
All donations received from this event will benefit the Central Brevard Humane Society in Cocoa.
